Slovenian Travel Press

Tradition
Slovenian Travel Press succeeded the former Group of Travel Journalists, founded in May 2005, which was incorporated in the Slovenian Association of Journalists, and FIJET Slovenija – Association of Travel Journalist, the latter being in 2017 renamed in Slovenian Travel Press. In the year 2015 we celebrated solemnly the 50-anniversary of travel and tourism press in Slovenia.

Our mission
The main goal of STP is to promote professional and in-depth coverage of tourism in Slovenia and in the world as well as cooperation with related professional associations in Europe and in the world.

Our activities
STP organizes panel discussions with tourist experts, study tours for its members, takes part in professional events of travel industry and is annually handing out the Chrystal Triglav, the reward for the most ousting achievement in Slovenian tourism.
